So much left to do
Summer is coming to a close and sadly to say I am still working on an assignment that’s due the first day of classes. I usually don’t procrastinate so I don’t know what happened this time, but I’m just crossing my fingers that I’ll get this book read and that the paper I have to write will turn out well. On top of that I have to read a textbook in order to write a paper about the organization with which I did the internship. It will all get done eventually though.
I have really enjoyed my summer though. While my husband was home we went to Gatlinburg and squeezed just about all we could into five days. We went to an amusement park, water park and played several rounds of mini golf. I think my favorite part was hiking to a waterfall called Grotto Falls in the Smokey Mt. National Park. We actually saw a bear and her cub while we were driving up there (yes, we were INSIDE a vehicle)– thankfully there were no close encounters with large animals while we were actually on the trail.

It’s hard to believe summer is almost over, but I have truly enjoyed it and am looking forward to the classes I will be taking. I’ll get to take a course that focuses on adult health and one that focuses on children. I’m also really excited to find out where I’ll be doing my clinical rotation, hopefully at a hospital or clinic this time. I know that this semester is going to keep me busy, but it’s all going to be well worth it in the next year or so when I can walk across the stage with a diploma in hand.
Until later….
